Jools invites more classic and contemporary artists for music sessions in north London's Alexandra Palace Theatre. Returning to the show are Alison Goldfrapp, here for the first time as a solo artist, to perform a couple of numbers from her LP The Love Invention, Eddie Chacon, joined by his collaborator and producer John Carroll Kirby to perform Holy Hell from their second solo album Sundown, and The Jordan, who has taken a new musical turn with her debut album Nowhere Near the Sky. Making their debuts in the studio are The Lathums, performing two songs from their second number one album From Nothing to a Little Bit More, and Anglo-American duo Baba Ali, with a track from their second album Laugh Like a Bomb.
